From communication to creating peace, The Garden provides a variety of workshops that provide strategies, support, and empowerment for parents and caregivers.  Parents have reported increased peace in their roles as parents and caregivers  and stronger relationships with their children.

According to a study conducted by the National Center for Family and Community Connections with Schools, the benefits to youth when their parents are engage in their lives reveal:

• Higher grade point averages and scores on standardized test

• Enrollment in more challenging academic programs

• More classes passed and credits earned

• Better attendance

• Improved behavior at home and at school; and

• Better social skills and adaptation to school
